My Grandpa

My Grandpa past away today. It has been a very tearful day. I have found that though there is a lot of comfort in knowing he is in heaven and able to see fully and not be dizzy anymore. It is still hard to realize he is really gone on off this earth. I never realized how hard death can be when you aren't expecting it. My Grandma Rhoten past away over two years ago and with hers although it was tough was expected we all got to say goodbye and let her go. With my Grandpa Moulton it has been sudden and a lot harder to deal with. Not many of us got to say our goodbye before he went. I think that is the hard part for most of us.
He was a great man. A wonderful Grandpa, father, and husband. I have so many great memories of us being so happy when they would come to visit. Him and Grandma would always have a candy bar for each of us as well as a great big hug and kiss. I remember him taking bike rides with us when we would go visit him. I remember he would always take us out to eat at burger king. And if we were good he would let us into the candy cupboard to have a treat. i can never forget the ping pong table. we use to have so much fun when we would go to grandpa's.
My grandpa will be missed by us all and I love him very much. For all those on facebook. thanks for your kind words. they mean a lot to me.

Apircotes

Apricots, Apricots, Apricots!!!! That is something we have had way to much of for the past month. But it was cute to see Brayden try to be like the the adults and pick them off the tree.
Anyway we have this huge Apricot tree in our front yard. It had soooooo many apricots that we had them growing out of our ears. We had a few friends help us and by coming and pick what they wanted but needless to say we had more then we would want. :) But here is Brayden looking cute.

Portland

Two weeks ago we went to Portland for a Family Reunion on my Hubby's side. We were there for only two days. but it was fun.

The second day we went to the Portland Zoo. Brayden loved it. We went on the train ride with Grandparents and I think it was the highlight for Brayden he loves Trains and had huge eyes the hole time.

Brayden also loved the fish and Turtles.

At the hotel that we stayed at we went swimming.

Nate was proud of the picture he took at the zoo.

For the reunion part we were at a State park that had a river running through it. Brayden and Cole had fun with the sand. it was fun to watch them.

Ward Camp Out

Well I am a little late on this post but oh well. About 2 or 3 weeks ago our ward had the big camp out up at ensign ranch. It was a lot of fun. There was tons to do and it was just fun to hang out with friends and play around.
We got to go in a canoe with some friends. Brayden was a little scared at first but then he really started to enjoy being out on the water. He would try to help my row. There was even one time that he thought he could lean over and touch the water. Scared me to death. But I caught him and we didn't flip. :)

Becky, Sorry it took so long but here are the pictures of your family. I thought they turned out cute.

They had this huge water slide that Nate and Brayden went down a few times. I guess the hole way down Brayden was saying no no no no no no!!!!! :) I don't think he liked it much. :) But Nate thought it was pretty funny.

Brayden scared himself by pulling the rope. He didn't think water was going to come out.

There just to cute together.

Thanks mom for the great tent. We loved staying in it. It was so big!

Mary Kay

I hosted a Mary Kay party for my friend on Tuesday. Well Brayden saw everyone else put lipstick on so he thought he should too. I thought he did a nice job. Don't you?

July 4th

Ok so I know this is a ton of pictures........ but I told everyone I would post them all so they could save them to their computers. So the first two are of Brayden holding a sparkler for the first time. He did really good with them for the first 3 that he went through. Then when the spark was done on the 3rd one he grabbed it with his other hand and burned his little pointing finger. He was done after that. But he loved to watch the big fireworks.

For the 4th we went to my Sister's in-laws home. We had a big BBQ and tons of fun food. It was very yummy. The kids all went swimming in the pool, and the adults had fun talking. Once it was dark we went to a pond on the property and shot of some fun fireworks.

Here are the fun fireworks we had the small ones and the big ones. Every time a big on would go off Brayden would say WOW... OOOOoooooooo............ pretty........ IT was funny to see him watch them all.

Below is the kids firework that they let off. It was the parachute firework. You know the one that a parachute guys comes out of and the kids get to chase it. I got it on camera it was funny.
